COVID-19 Impact Communication Update

For all of us at Dale, this has certainly been a challenging time. The impact of the Coronavirus outbreak on our company, the industry, and our community continues to be ever-changing. Our foremost priority is the health and safety of us all. Please remember the guidelines for How to Protect Yourself outlined by the CDC and pass the information along to everyone you can. These are very important guidelines to follow.

MAIN OFFICE OPERATIONS

Although our main office is currently closed for general business, we are operating remotely as much as possible and all necessary functions are continuing. Specifically, all paychecks or vouchers have been processed and are being mailed for those who don’t have electronic delivery or direct deposit.

FIELD OPERATIONS

In general, most of our project sites are not open for normal operations. However, as we navigate the varying governmental orders and shutdown, some of our projects have been deemed essential or Life-Sustaining by the authorities and are thereby continuing or restarting operations. In addition, certain tasks must continue at each site to maintain safe conditions during the shutdown. If you are available to work or have questions about the status of a project, please contact Glen, John, your supervisor or any of us.

Please remember that it is completely understood that some of you may be uncomfortable returning to a project site. We know that this decision is not an easy one, and we respect your decision. Anyone working or supervising workers must follow the OSHA guidelines to Prevent Worker Exposure to Coronavirus. Key points are summarized as follows:

  • Frequently wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and running water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand rub that contains at least 60% alcohol.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands.
  • Implement Social Distancing – maintain a distance of 6 feet from each other.
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick. Stay home if you are sick.
  • Assess and evaluate the risk of exposure. Select and implement controls to prevent exposure.

If at any time you have questions or concerns, make sure you contact your supervisor or any of us before going to a site or continuing work.

Thank you and stay safe!
