Please follow, and pass on to all, the important guidelines for How to Protect Yourself outlined by the CDC and the OSHA guidelines to Prevent Worker Exposure to Coronavirus.
This past Friday an article was published by Penn Medicine News outlining the important work continuing at the PennFIRST project (Click Here). The work being performed by our team and all the trades throughout the region are helping to make things safer for everyone in our community. We are proud and thankful that our team continues to work diligently so everyone can get through this outbreak and help ensure that the future looks bright for everyone.
COMMUNICATION BROADCAST SYSTEM
Maintaining contact with the whole Dale family is extremely important. If you know of anyone who has not been receiving these updates, please ask them to reach out and let us know. We need to get everyone’s number where we can send text messages. It can be sent directly to Patti, Chrissy or your supervisor who will forward it along. Also, this website (daleff.com/COVID-19) has all of the previous notices/communications.
FIELD OPERATIONS
Under various order and directives, several projects have been requested by authorities to continue as essential operations. Our team continues to review the standards for each site and the protocols put in place by the CDC, OSHA, our clients, our safety and health team, other contractors/subcontractors, the trades, and the industry at large. Although we have established general protocols for all work performed, each project is being evaluated for particular requirements and needs of the site to create site-specific plans to keep workers safe before anyone returns to any project.
Keep in mind, it is completely understood that some may feel uncomfortable returning to a project site. We understand that this decision is not an easy one, and we fully respect your decision. If you are available to work or have questions about the status of a project, please contact Glen, John, your supervisor, or any of us.
MAIN OFFICE OPERATIONS
The main office continues to be closed for general business. We are operating remotely as much as possible and all necessary functions are continuing. During this time, all phones continue to be monitored or forwarded to maintain necessary communications. Provisions have been made for deliveries and mail to be left in the vestibule or warehouse, as necessary. All paychecks or vouchers will be mailed to the address on record for those who don’t have electronic delivery or direct deposit.
HELPFUL RESOURCES
Once we fully review the most recent bills passed or orders signed by the various governmental agencies, we will make every effort to pass on information that will be helpful to our family. This information will apply to those able to work as well as those unable because of the novel Coronavirus outbreak.
