As the impact of the Coronavirus outbreak continues to create changes to our industry, projects, and most importantly, our families, we reiterate that our foremost priority is the health and safety of us all. To that point, we again encourage you to always follow the important guidelines for How to Protect Yourself outlined by the CDC and the OSHA guidelines to Prevent Worker Exposure to Coronavirus.
The status of the construction industry is a focal point of legislative efforts in Pennsylvania as we all seek clarity for a path forward. Although most of our project sites are not open for normal operations, we continue to monitor the status of Governor Wolf’s Order and will communicate with you all as more information impacting our construction becomes available. Being able to communicate with the whole Dale family remains extremely important. We once more ask that if you know of anyone not receiving these updates that you please ask them to reach to us and let us know.
FIELD OPERATIONS
Our goal is to work safely only where work is allowed to continue. We prioritize the health and safety of all of us, and will continue to work with our partners to help navigate all transitions as smoothly as possible.
As you know, several projects have been requested to continue as essential operations under various orders and directives issued at the State and Local levels. At project sites where work continues, the Dale Team will continue to evaluate the particular requirements and needs of the site to create site-specific plans intended to keep workers safe before returning to and while working at any project. These site-specific protocols will be in addition to the general standards put in place at each project site along with protocols established by the CDC, OSHA, our safety and health team, other contractors and subcontractors, and the industry at large. Where work continues, it is critically important that the protocols put in place for everyone’s protection are followed. It is incumbent upon all of us to work together to fight the spread of COVID-19 so that projects which remain open continue to be run safely.
MAIN OFFICE OPERATIONS
The main office continues to be closed for general business in accordance with Governor Wolf’s March 20, 2020 Order. We are operating remotely as much as possible and all necessary functions are continuing. During this time, all phones continue to be monitored or forwarded to maintain necessary communications. Provisions have been made for deliveries and mail to be left in the vestibule or warehouse, as necessary. All paychecks or vouchers will be mailed to the address on record for those who don’t have electronic delivery or direct deposit.

Contact with the entire Dale Team is extremely important. Please ask around to make sure our whole team is receiving these updates. If they are not, let Patti, Chrissy or your supervisor know the best number to receive text messages.
