In keeping with the CDC guidance, we strongly recommend and urge everyone who enters a construction site to voluntarily wear a face covering over their mouth and nose to help prevent the spread of the Coronavirus. As addressed in our last communication, the CDC recommends wearing cloth face coverings in public settings where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain, especially in areas of significant community-based transmission. Since it is known that a person can spread the virus without even knowing they have it, please take every precaution to prevent the spread and cover your mouth and nose.
According to the current guidance, the use of face coverings while working in close proximity with others for an extended time is imperative to help protect each other.
Each worker should bring a cloth face covering for personal use with them each day. Information about how to make them is available on the CDC website.
