As we enter the middle part of the summer, we wish to take this opportunity to encourage and remind everyone to continue taking every precaution to protect yourself and your families in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Please know that we are continuously monitoring all federal, state, and local updates concerning new COVID-19 policies and guidance that might impact the Dale Family.
We continue to follow the workplace protocols currently in place, including wearing a mask, practicing social distancing, and staying home if you are not feeling well. As always, it is important to review the Dale COVID-19 job site training programs, job site protocols, office awareness program, and office protocols regularly.
During these summer months we understand people may be visiting public spaces and traveling during off work hours. Here at Dale, we have taken several measures, both in the field and in the office, that help reduce the potential for transmission of the virus among our Dale Family. We should all stay mindful during non-working hours and continue to follow the guidelines laid out at the federal, state, and local levels when going to any public setting or traveling. Our actions away from work could have a direct impact on the safety and well-being of our fellow co-workers and maintaining a healthy work environment. We all have a responsibility to do our part to mitigate the virus’s impact.
Our goal is to continue doing our part to make sure our employees are comfortable in their working conditions, and to keep them informed about any decisions that may affect the organizational operations of our company. As always, if you have any questions about any of the Dale programs or protocols, please reach out to your direct supervisor for any clarification needed.
Please take a moment to follow this link and watch a short video about why face coverings work to help prevent the spread of the virus. This video was prepared by M.. Staymates, a fluid dynamicist and mechanical engineer at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). In addition to this video, a PBS show has a 7 minute episode on “How Well Do Masks Work?“, that is based on Staymates’ work, but presents some additional information.
Thank you for your cooperation and stay safe!
