Operating the Drive/Steer Controller
- Lift the lock ring
- Move the controller in slow, precise movements
- To avoid sudden starts/stops, do not make abrupt movements or a quick release of the drive/steer controller
- Smooth steering can be achieved by intermittently tapping the steer switch in the desired direction of travel
- Allow the machine time to respond to initial movements of the controller as the hydraulic fluid may need time to circulate through the hoses and cylinders
